This unit uses a hose assembly that connects directly to a standard portable propane tank.

This burner is great for outdoor use with large pots or, in our case, a tall still. The flame is highly variable: from scorch to so low you may need a (safe) wind shield to keep the flame from going out. Just beware the air vent is different than the manual available online (seems like an upgrade) and liquid propane tanks outside of the US may require a different connector.
